Flexera Appoints Michael Jerich as President and Chief Executive Officer

Flexera has appointed Michael Jerich as President and Chief Executive Officer, completing a planned leadership transition as the company strengthens its focus on helping organizations manage technology investments, software assets, and the rising costs of artificial intelligence.
Jerich succeeds Jim Ryan, who has transitioned to Vice Chairman of Flexera's Board of Directors and will continue supporting the company's long-term strategy and growth.
Leading Flexera's Next Chapter
As President and CEO, Michael will lead Flexera through its next phase of growth, with a continued focus on enabling organizations to gain greater visibility into technology spending, improve governance, and optimize IT investments.
His appointment comes as enterprises face increasing complexity in managing cloud infrastructure, software licensing, FinOps, and AI-related technology costs.
Expanding AI Cost Management Capabilities
Alongside the leadership transition, Flexera highlighted its continued investment in the Flexera One platform, including the expansion of AI Cost Management capabilities.
The enhanced platform is designed to help organizations improve visibility, governance, and optimization of AI spending across the entire AI technology stack, addressing growing enterprise demand for stronger financial control and operational oversight.
The company also noted continued momentum in expanding its FinOps capabilities and strengthening its position in technology expense management.
