Factory has promoted Francesca LaBianca to Chief Operating Officer, marking an expanded leadership role after two years with the company.

Francesca has been part of Factory's growth journey over the past two years and will now help lead the company through its next stage of development. Her expanded remit comes as Factory continues to scale its AI-powered software development platform and enterprise customer base.

Expanding operational leadership

As Chief Operating Officer, Francesca will take on a broader role in supporting Factory's operations and continued growth.

Her appointment comes at a point when the company is focused on building software that can increasingly improve and develop itself through AI. The COO role places Francesca closer to the operational execution required to support that ambition as the business scales.

Building an enterprise AI platform

Francesca highlighted Factory's product as one of the areas she is particularly proud of from her first two years with the company.

Factory has developed a modular and composable platform designed to give enterprises a common foundation across AI models and the software development lifecycle. The platform also allows organizations to retain ownership of their own intelligence and infrastructure.

This positioning reflects the company's focus on bringing AI deeper into software engineering workflows while addressing the requirements of enterprise organizations.

Scaling a growing enterprise business

Factory has built a customer base that includes Blackstone, Nvidia, RBC, T-Mobile, IBM and Adyen, according to Francesca.

The company's growing adoption across major enterprises provides the backdrop for her expanded operating mandate. As Factory continues to grow, operational leadership will become increasingly important in translating product momentum into a scalable business.

Leading Factory into its next chapter

Francesca credited Factory's team as one of the defining achievements of her first two years, emphasizing the collective expertise and capabilities across the organization.

Her move into the COO role comes as Factory looks to build on that foundation. Working alongside co-founders Matan Grinberg and Eno Reyes, Francesca will help guide the company through its next chapter as it continues developing AI-driven software engineering capabilities and expanding its enterprise footprint.
