Deepak Agarwal Joins Meta as VP of Engineering

Deepak Agarwal has joined Meta as Vice President of Engineering, taking responsibility for the Instagram Home engineering organization, one of the most influential consumer technology platforms in the world.

In his new role, Deepak will lead the teams responsible for building and scaling core Instagram experiences across Feed, Reels, Explore, Search, and Growth ecosystems. His appointment comes after a successful tenure at LinkedIn, where he most recently served as Chief AI Officer.
